OUR HISTORY
When Hawaii Raceway Park closed in 2006, Mike shifted the shop's focus from race prep to street-legal sport bikes, commuters, and small builds with Eric following soon after— without ever losing the racer's edge that built his reputation. Sportbike Hawaii is a cornerstone of the O‘ahu motorcycle community.

THE LEGACY
Before HRP closed in 2006, Mike Coffman was a fixture of O‘ahu's local track scene — sponsoring racers, prepping race bikes, and running his shop as a communal garage for Campbell Industrial Park's riders.
Team Hawaii/ Free RadicalsCoffman and Ed Sorbo started SBH from Team Hawaii, a dominant crew at HRP club races through the '90s and 2000s. When the track closed, Team Hawaii and Free Radicals became O‘ahu's legendary early-morning street riding crew — Tantalus, Windward, & North Shore.
"Ohana" ServiceMike and Eric can be direct, but once you're in the fold you're family. Decades of fair, transparent pricing built a client base that has stuck with the shop through every era.
Eric Dawkins, VPTrained at Kapi‘olani CC, Eric is the Vice President who leads same-day service — oil changes, tire swaps, brake flushes — and is known island-wide for patient, clear communication with riders of every level.
